Life can feel especially complicated during times of change, or when the stress of everyday life becomes overwhelming. I work with adults navigating these challenges, using an integrative approach informed by existential and humanistic perspectives.
I specialize in supporting individuals through life transitions, relationship difficulties, and periods of spiritual questioning. I believe that meaningful change begins with a deeper understanding of yourself and a connection to what truly matters to you. Together, we’ll uncover your strengths, nurture healthier relationships, and foster lasting growth.

Therapy can be a space for deep healing, and it starts with feeling safe, seen, and supported. If you're navigating relationships, healing from trauma, or managing long-standing patterns rooted in attachment wounds, you don’t have to do it alone. I offer a grounded, compassionate space to help you process the past and reconnect with your strength in the present. My training includes EMDR, somatic, energy psychology, and cognitive-behavioral tools to help rewire thought patterns and support the nervous system in releasing stored emotional pain, often leading to long-lasting, transformational change.
Healing doesn't have to be rushed. My approach is calm, collaborative, and deeply respectful of your pace. Whether you are carrying trauma in your body or feel like life is just "too much", let’s see together how we can help you get on an easier, happier road.

I believe that building a solid relationship is a key component of a positive therapy experience. I use a person-centered approach to create a safe, inclusive, and welcoming environment for each person to share their unique story. I work regularly with the LGBTQAI community and feel strongly about keeping this a safe space for all.
I have a passion for working with college students/young adults, helping you to work through life transitions, and am constantly working towards destigmatizing sex and the like topics. People universally want to feel heard, understood, and seen, and I aim to provide this for each person.

Maybe you find yourself feeling overwhelmed at the prospect of adding one more thing to your plate or tired of trying an endless list of self-improvement tasks, only to feel like the quick fix doesn't fit your circumstances. I meet my clients with a warm, strength-focused, and culturally informed perspective to ensure they are receiving care tailored to them. In addition to the skills and tools you already have, we can use my toolbox: brainspotting, solution-focused therapy, brain-body connection, and systemic therapy to put your experience into context and you in charge of your story—no matter how unmanageable it may feel right now
During a session, you can expect us to reflect on your prior successes–what's worked for you? Just as my experience supporting foster children & teaching art shaped my expertise, your skills inform therapy to be specific & effective to you. My style is collaborative and a touch witty—I lean heavy on metaphors & a bit of therapeutic challenging too.
In short, I believe that everyone deserves peace and I’m here to be a support as you find yours. If it sounds like we could be a good fit, please don’t hesitate to reach out to get scheduled. I offer free 15 minute phone consultations and we have a wonderful front desk staff who would be happy to see if your insurance works out here.

People are unique human beings with a long list of remarkable qualities. Sometimes though, we feel that we have qualities that we need to work on to be our better selves. I work with individuals to find and strengthen those qualities. I consider each of the individuals who come to me for sessions as just that, individuals with autonomy. I use Emotional Focused Therapy (EFT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Narrative Therapy, and Play and Art Therapy.
I will help you figure out what you need and want, support healthy boundaries in your relationships, teach concrete skills that you can use, and guide you as you re-parent your inner child. Most importantly, in our work together you will find that you are a lovable human being with lots of awesome traits and that you belong in this world.

My primary speciality is working with PTSD and trauma. I hear from a lot of clients that their previous experiences in therapy have felt like places to be heard but not to actually change. This often leaves them feeling stuck. I really like to provide a new opportunity for clients like this. My goal is to support meaningful changes for clients with these types of concerns. Are you someone who has experienced sexual assault, childhood abuse, domestic violence, or other traumatic event(s)? Are you a veteran, first-responder, or front-line medical worker? If so, I’d be glad to hear from you.
Although my primary specialty is in PTSD and Trauma, often therapy doesn’t stop there for folks. I have had great success in working with Anxiety and Depression, relationship concerns often related to trauma history, as well as folks who have Bipolar and other mood regulation disorders.
I try to emphasize evidence-based practices as much as possible, so if you like therapy that has clear research support, you’re in the right place. I take a person-centered approach, meaning that you and I will collaborate on what works best. I’m here to work with you and whatever unique challenges and circumstances you’re experiencing.

Sometimes our lives can become overwhelming and challenging. We might encounter events that are out of our control. Perhaps our relationships are rocky, or we are at some point in our lives where change is disruptive and hard to maneuver. Suddenly, we find ourselves needing support and want to explore what therapy might have to offer. I work with individuals, families, and couples in a range of ages, teen to elder. I am an inclusive provider who is a strong supporter/advocate in working with BIPOC and LBGTQIA2+ communities.
I find it really helpful to create a solid therapeutic connection which allows the individual to feel they are truly validated. Some of the interventions I am trained in include EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing), Brainspotting, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Sand Tray Therapy, and Internal Family Systems.

You don’t have to face things alone. Whether you're exploring your identity, coping with overwhelm, or working toward better balance in your life, I’m here to support you. I'm a licensed therapist in Florida and Minnesota, offering in-person sessions in Mount Dora, FL and telehealth across both states. I work with individuals, couples, and families, helping clients build on their strengths to navigate challenges with more clarity, confidence, and resilience.
I specialize in supporting children (ages 9+), teens, and adults as they manage stress, ADHD, life transitions, anxiety, and relationship issues. My clinical focus includes mindfulness, emotional regulation, communication, conflict resolution, self-awareness, and self-esteem.
My approach is collaborative, grounded, and tailored to each client. I draw from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), holistic practices, and other evidence-based tools to support your unique goals. I believe that every experience carries meaning—and that healing starts with understanding, self-connection, and practical skill-building.

I want to provide you with a safe and non-judgmental atmosphere so you can address the problems that are interfering with your life. A supportive connection is the most important ingredient to the therapy relationship and I strive to make that my priority every day. You will find that I vary from being direct and challenging to silly, warm and gentle. I enjoy including family members in therapy sessions when appropriate. I incorporate DBT, CBT, Mindfulness and strengths-based, solution-focused perspectives into my practice.
I enjoy working with a variety of presenting issues including but not limited to depression and mood disorders, anxiety disorders, OCD, PTSD and C-PTSD, grief, emotion regulation difficulties, sleep difficulties, self-harm and suicidal ideation, work and relationship stress, improving communication in important relationships and navigating life stress.
