To develop, create, and maintain a mental health organization that is healthy, sustainable, and professionally enriching for all of its employees, so that they are in turn empowered to provide the most compassionate, dynamic, and effective services possible to each and every client, neighborhood, and community that they serve.
What kinds of problems do you help people with the most?
According to claims data, the top ten most frequently treated conditions at Catalyst are currently: Anxiety Disorders, Depressive and Bipolar Disorders, Trauma and PTSD, Compulsive Disorders and OCD, Chemical Dependency, Borderline Personality Disorder, Eating Disorders, Autism Spectrum Disorders, Attention Deficit Disorders, and Gender Identity Disorder
What kinds of people do you work with?
We now have clinicians specializing in clients of all ages: children, adolescents, young adults, older adults, and seniors. Demographic and cultural specialties vary somewhat from provider to provider, but all of our providers value a diversity of beliefs, faith, and cultural traditions. All of our providers are also open and affirming friends of the LGBT community.
How frequently do you meet with people, and for how long?
All of the services provided by Catalyst Mental Health are delivered at the outpatient level of service intensity, which means that sessions typically last approximately 50 minutes and occur once a week. Average treatment duration is approximately three to six months, but frequency may vary depending on client needs.
Do you provide medication management services?
No, we do not have any medication prescribers on staff. However, we recognize that most research suggests that clients achieve the best treatment outcomes when receiving a combination of talk therapy and medication management, so we are strong supporters of those who would like for us to coordinate care with a medication prescriber of their choosing.
Do you provide any discounted or reduced-rate services?
Yes! All of our therapists dedicate a limited portion of their caseload to clients struggling with financial hardships, and may be willing to offer reduced rates to those in need.
