“You were given this life because you are strong enough to live it.” My personal journey of Adoption has fueled my passion to provide unconditional and authentic support for families and individuals with warmth and compassion. I draw upon a strength based, resiliency-building and collaborative style of therapy to empower families and individuals to find inner healing, while providing tools to enhance their daily life functioning.
I have extensive experience helping individuals and families with anxiety, depression and trauma, and am EMDR trained. I do relational work with couples and premarital counseling, and I specialize in working with children ages 10+ and families who are navigating attachment and adoption-related experiences.

Witnessing people create meaningful changes in their lives has been my greatest privilege as a therapist. Strong, loving relationships, healthy family bonds, vocational success, healing from wounds of trauma, and reconnecting to a joyful participation in life are some of the experiences I have been able to share with clients. I hold a Doctorate in Marriage and Family Therapy and bring my background in creative arts, trauma work, and rich life experience to help clients get past the barriers of anxiety, depression, and trauma.
My experience includes work with children, adolescents, adults and families. My primary specialty is trauma, but I also have a lot of experience with ADHD, children and adults impacted by divorce and family transitions. Other specialties include anxiety, depression, relationship struggles and compulsive behavior patterns.

I enjoy working with children, adolescents, and adults. I have a special interest in pediatric medication management, neurodevelopmental and genetic disorders, anxiety disorders, mood disorders, and co-occuring intellectual disabilities. I regularly use genetic testing (Genesight) to develop a medication treatment plan that is truly tailored to each person and the goals they envision achieving. Consultation only appointments available if you have a psychiatrist you love but would like a second opinion.
I view medication not as a quick fix, but as a supportive stepping stone. Whether you visit us at our clinic or connect from the comfort of your home via video, I will treat you as a whole person, walking beside you to ensure your treatment truly nurtures your life.
I am a Board Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. I have over ten years of experience providing medication management for ages 4+ for a variety of conditions including anxiety, ADHD, PTSD, depression, and mood disorders. I take into consideration a comprehensive assessment and develop a realistic treatment plan with patients and families.

Life can feel overwhelming when anxiety, ADHD, burnout, parenting stress, relationship challenges, or major life transitions begin affecting how you function day-to-day. I work with adults navigating emotional overwhelm, self-esteem struggles, caregiving stress, neurodiversity, and the pressures of modern life. I also work well with analytical and high-achieving individuals, including those in engineering and problem-solving professions. I especially enjoy supporting individuals exploring late-diagnosed ADHD, including individuals learning how neurodiversity has shaped their relationships, work, identity, and emotional well-being.
My approach is warm, collaborative, and strengths-based. I use CBT, DBT, mindfulness, and person-centered approaches to help clients better understand themselves while building practical tools for emotional regulation, stress management, boundaries, communication, and self-compassion.
I also support parents navigating postpartum changes, shifting identities, burnout, and the emotional demands of caregiving. Many of my clients are feeling emotionally exhausted by the pace and uncertainty of modern life and are looking for ways to feel more grounded, connected, and sustainable. Reach out to see if we may be a good fit!

I believe that the foundation of growth begins within the relationship between individual and therapist. The desire to feel seen, heard, and understood is universal and is an essential part of our overall well-being. I celebrate the courage of individuals who take steps into healing by engaging in the therapeutic process to manifest the life they desire. I am passionate about working together to ensure that you become an expert on yourself and believe in your own insight, strength, and self awareness. I believe that humor and laughter bring out our authentic selves and utilize this philosophy in my work.
For the past 20+ years I've had the opportunity to work with individuals from diverse backgrounds. I have a special interest in women's issues, PTSD and trauma, and healthy relationships. Other specialty areas include depression, anxiety, ADHD, and social anxiety. Asking for help does not always come easy, and I am willing and able to meet you where you are.

Life is constantly moving, changing, and evolving. Sometimes it feels like too much to take on alone. In a fast-paced world with many truths, I enable individuals to fully understand themselves in a warm, collaborative, and judgment-free environment. I enjoy working with individuals from all backgrounds, especially women ages 18+. I have a special interest in supporting individuals dealing with a range of issues, including anxiety, depression, navigating life transitions, managing relationships, addressing eating issues, fostering positive body image, and enhancing self-esteem.
I believe the foundation for therapy is the relationship. I want to create a space that feels approachable and safe to every individual. I will strive to make the therapeutic process collaborative and centered around your goals, with some friendly challenges thrown in at times. I look forward to working with you, and helping you set and meet your goals!

My name is Courtney Mensink and I have a license in both mental health and addiction counseling. I have worked in the field of addiction counseling since 2019 and have been licensed in mental health counseling since 2023. I specialize in working with individuals that are experiencing addiction, depression, anxiety, personality disorders, co-dependency, and self-esteem issues. I am passionate about helping people learn better coping skills, emotion regulation, and self-awareness and acceptance.

If you're ready to take the first step toward healing and change, I’m here to support you on your journey.

I consider the opportunity to learn about a client's unique inner experiences to be a wonderful privilege. Whether you're navigating anxiety, depression, relationship dynamics, or seeking deeper self-understanding, therapy offers a space to explore, learn and evolve. I view therapy as a collaborative journey, where your experiences and insights guide our work together. My aim is to create a warm, open, and safe environment where you feel heard and supported.
My work is integrative and rooted in Person-Centered Theory. I utilize various interventions including Emotionally Focused Therapy, CBT, and an existential approach. I have experience with adults and couples with a range of ages, cultural backgrounds, and presenting concerns including life transitions, trauma, anxiety, depression, and identity exploration.
