I have a true passion for helping people of all ages build on their inner strengths and break free from negative thought and behavior patterns that get in the way of living a healthy balanced life. I use an integrative framework, drawing from EMDR, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and other treatment approaches, tailored to meet each person where they are in their own unique journey towards growth and healing.
I work with ages 18 and up, and have a special interest in anxiety disorders, grief, and trauma treatment. My top priority is to ensure effective therapeutic treatment, while providing a compassionate, trusting, and non-judgmental environment for everyone.

Therapy can be many things: healing, grounding, even artistic. At its best, it is a space where your strengths, pain, and experiences are honored, and where real change becomes possible. I believe in meeting people where they are, and see therapy as a collaborative journey, using your personal story as the guide. I draw from a variety of evidence-based approaches to help you work through anxiety, depression, and trauma, while supporting you in reconnecting with your inner resilience.
I have experience working with individuals from diverse cultural backgrounds and feel strongly about creating a therapy space that is inclusive, respectful, and affirming. My current areas of interest are trauma/PTSD, anxiety and depression, and I work with preteens, teens, and adults.

My primary speciality is working with PTSD and trauma. I hear from a lot of clients that their previous experiences in therapy have felt like places to be heard but not to actually change. This often leaves them feeling stuck. I really like to provide a new opportunity for clients like this. My goal is to support meaningful changes for clients with these types of concerns. Are you someone who has experienced sexual assault, childhood abuse, domestic violence, or other traumatic event(s)? Are you a veteran, first-responder, or front-line medical worker? If so, I’d be glad to hear from you.
Although my primary specialty is in PTSD and Trauma, often therapy doesn’t stop there for folks. I have had great success in working with Anxiety and Depression, relationship concerns often related to trauma history, as well as folks who have Bipolar and other mood regulation disorders.
I try to emphasize evidence-based practices as much as possible, so if you like therapy that has clear research support, you’re in the right place. I take a person-centered approach, meaning that you and I will collaborate on what works best. I’m here to work with you and whatever unique challenges and circumstances you’re experiencing.

I am passionate about helping others thrive, not just survive, on their journey. I have a special interest in family of origin issues, pre-marriage counseling, divorce, remarriage, blended families, and codependency issues. I also specialize in grief counseling, life transitions, career development, and spiritual concerns.
I am trained in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). I work with individual adults using a systemic, strengths-based, positive, solution-focused, integrative approach. For clients who are interested, I also provide Prepare/Enrich Relationship and CliftonStrengths assessments.

Thank you for advocating for yourself and/or your relationship—it's a brave and vulnerable step. Sometimes life gets in the way of our growth. Sometimes our past casts long shadows into the present. And sometimes, it's the fear of the future that keeps us stuck. My experience includes working with children, individuals, couples, and families. I offer a non-judgmental and supportive space to talk through what’s been on your mind, what’s been worrying you, or what you’d like to change. I’m a person of color, fluent in Arabic and English, and committed to creating a welcoming space for people from all walks of life.
I take a person-centered, experiential approach—meaning our time together is focused on you. I believe each person is unique: I’m interested in your values, early experiences, cultural background, and how all of these influence your relationships and decisions today.
Whether you're feeling overwhelmed, disconnected, or simply trying to understand yourself better, I'm here to support you. I’m especially attuned to the unique challenges that can come with navigating multiple cultural identities, inter-generational expectations, or the pressure to appear strong while feeling stuck inside.

You’re driven, capable, and often seen as “doing fine”—even when you feel overwhelmed inside. Maybe anxiety is showing up before tests, games, or social situations. Maybe you’re questioning who you are outside of school, your sport, or others' expectations. I work with preteens, teens, and young adults to slow down, manage anxiety, build confidence, and reconnect with what matters. You don’t have to do it all alone—and you don’t have to have it all figured out.
My approach is warm, direct, and strengths-based. I lead with empathy while also holding space for accountability. We’ll build on what’s working, explore what’s getting in the way, and take practical steps toward change so you can move forward with more clarity, confidence, and self-trust.
I just elected a membership with Association for Social Work in Sport (ASWIS). This is a Professional Member of the Association for Social Work in Sport (ASWIS), a national organization dedicated to advancing mental health care for athletes.

Witnessing people create meaningful changes in their lives has been my greatest privilege as a therapist. Strong, loving relationships, healthy family bonds, vocational success, healing from wounds of trauma, and reconnecting to a joyful participation in life are some of the experiences I have been able to share with clients. I hold a Doctorate in Marriage and Family Therapy and bring my background in creative arts, trauma work, and rich life experience to help clients get past the barriers of anxiety, depression, and trauma.
My experience includes work with children, adolescents, adults and families. My primary specialty is trauma, but I also have a lot of experience with ADHD, children and adults impacted by divorce and family transitions. Other specialties include anxiety, depression, relationship struggles and compulsive behavior patterns.

I consider the opportunity to learn about a client's unique inner experiences to be a wonderful privilege. Whether you're navigating anxiety, depression, relationship dynamics, or seeking deeper self-understanding, therapy offers a space to explore, learn and evolve. I view therapy as a collaborative journey, where your experiences and insights guide our work together. My aim is to create a warm, open, and safe environment where you feel heard and supported.
My work is integrative and rooted in Person-Centered Theory. I utilize various interventions including Emotionally Focused Therapy, CBT, and an existential approach. I have experience with adults and couples with a range of ages, cultural backgrounds, and presenting concerns including life transitions, trauma, anxiety, depression, and identity exploration.

I focus on learning who a person is uniquely, and I take an active role in treatment, offering genuine warmth and support as well as practical feedback. I draw from various theoretical approaches but commonly use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, mindful self-compassion, Exposure Response Prevention, and Internal Family Systems. As a licensed clinical social worker I have had the pleasure of working in cities across the United States with a wide range of individuals from a variety of backgrounds.
I work with individuals 18 and older, and my areas of special interest include anxiety, OCD, mindfulness, self-compassion, and climate-conscious therapy (support for anxiety/distress about our changing ecosystem).

At the core of my work is a deep respect for each person’s lived experience and identity. My current person-centered practice is heavily informed by my background in community mental health, case management, and advocacy; I approach therapy through a multicultural and accepting lens, always seeing you as a human first — not a diagnosis or a problem to be fixed.
My goal is to create a space where you feel genuinely heard, respected, understood, and supported. Together, we work to identify your strengths, explore challenges, and develop tools that align with your values and goals.
I draw from a variety of evidence-based approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), trauma-informed care, and Solution-Focused Therapy. By integrating these approaches, I strive to offer individualized treatment that supports healing, growth, and meaningful change at your own pace.
